I’m Abhilash J, a Product Communications Specialist at SportStr, dedicated to keeping sports academies informed about the latest platform enhancements, feature releases, and product innovations. My role focuses on communicating meaningful updates that help coaches, administrators, and academy owners maximize the value of technology in their daily operations.
I collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to understand user needs, platform improvements, and upcoming developments. This allows me to translate technical updates into clear, actionable information that helps users stay informed and make the most of new features and capabilities.
Through SportStr, I publish release notes, product announcements, feature highlights, and platform updates while sharing practical guidance on how sports academies can leverage technology to improve efficiency, enhance communication, and support long-term growth.
Academy Admin

- Student profiles can now be deleted. Admins can remove student profiles from the
system, helping keep records clean and well organized.
- Student status can now be updated automatically. Admins can set rules linked to
payments and attendance, allowing student profiles to be automatically marked as
disabled when conditions are met.
- Daily transaction reports can be sent via email. Admins can enable a daily email
report that shares all transactions completed during the day with selected email IDs.
- Calendar now supports a sessions-only view. Admins can choose to view only the
days that have sessions scheduled, making calendar navigation simpler.
- Student profile status history is now available. Admins can view a detailed history of
changes made to a student’s profile status, offering better clarity and tracking
Coaches App
- A new Partially Marked tag has been introduced to clearly indicate when attendance for a session is only partially completed. smoother experience.
- The newly added My Swipes section allows coaches to view their swipe-in and
swipe-out details for the day, providing better visibility into attendance tracking. - Overall performance improvements for better reliability during daily usage.
Students App
- The app interface has been refreshed with UI improvements to deliver a cleaner and
more intuitive experience for students.
- Overall performance enhancements ensure a smoother and more consistent experience
while accessing schedules, payments, and assessments.
